Jenny Wallwork has quit Great Britain’s funded badminton programme. She is the second player after Inogen Bankier returned to her native country Scotland four months ago.

The main reason for Wallwork’s exit is due to she had “no voice” in the direction her career was progressing. Not only that, she does not have the confidence and the incapable leadership of the Badminton Endlang (BE).

Wallwork, who announced her decision in a statement posted on her Twitter account, has not made clear whether she intends to play on independently or not.

Wallwork wrote: “No voice, no choice!

“It is with regret that at the age of 26 and entering the prime of my career I feel the necessity to submit my resignation from the GB Badminton Programme.

Let’s all wish all the best to Jenny Wallwork and hope she makes a speedy return to the world of badminton as she is still too young to quit the sports.

Your spelling is a bit too loose. Tighten up why don’t you?
