Lee Yong Dae & Jung Jae Sung the home crowd favorite took on China up and coming pairing of Chai Biao & Zhang Nan in the Korea Super Series badminton tournament in the men doubles section.

I guess i no need explain or talk a lot about the Korean pairing as most of you should know who they are and how they are!

To be honest, pharmacy this is the first time i saw the Chinese pairing in action. Guess what, order i am quite impressed with the performance. No doubt about it. I am pretty sure our Malaysian doubles will have trouble against this Chinese pairing in the future.

Something i respect most of China is that they are producing talent after talent without stop. They are not only producing quantity but quality players always.

Anyway enjoy this pulsating match.

The number one seed still got their best form. Chinese new pair also plays so well, but needs more experiences.

As usual Gillian Clark is spot on with her commentary.

  • WOW! These new guys from China are exciting to watch!
    Great future!

  • Have to agree with Alphadeck, Gillian Clark is probably the best badminton commentator around. Not only does she exibit great knowledge of the game as she was a former player herself, but it's her style of commentating I like. She seems to know when to talk and when to insert insightful views or interesting tidbits and when to keep quiet..unlike the the Asian commentatators [ from ALL eastern badminton nations] who seem to run their mouths like a broken radio to make their homeplayer look good or to show how much they know about “technique” and so forth. Sometimes I think I hear more of their talking then the actual play of the game. A commentator should be like a spice to complement a good dish, not to detract from or worse, to overkill it. Now I'm getting hungry.

Checkout on the first set first video at 5:45 the way Gillian says the guys name, almost sounds like she's mocking lol although I'm sure its not the case.

  • wow… the new chinese pairs are so dynamic! they still need more exp and pair knowledge hitting each other rackets like 4-5 times…

but unlike Cai/Fu, they are good all-around and play very much like LYD

the new chinese pair's performance shock me ! that was a great match ! they got the bronze medals in the SEA Games but i didn't notice that they are such a powerful team !!!! I surely that they will be bright stars in the future and they will be the core pair of chinese men's doubles team! hahaha, anyway, I am much impressed by Lee Yong Dae as I am a super fans of him 😀
