Lars Paaske & Jonas Rasmussen took on up and coming pair of Mathias Boe & Carsten Mogensen in the Copenhagen Masters Finals 2008 in the Men Doubles event.

The younger pair of Mathias Boe & Carsten Mogensen is also tipped to replaced retired Jens Eriksen & Martin Lundgaard Hansen in the doubles event for Denmark. Trust me, this young pair has a bright future ahead of them.

In the first game, Mathias Boe & Carsten Mogensen started explosively and dismantled Lars Paaske & Jonas Rasmussen 21-14 with Lars Paaske making most of the mistakes at the net.

The second game, the “old birds” came out fighting and deservinglu won 21-13. The decisive set was a closer battle with both pairs fighting neck to neck.

With years of experience at the expense, Lars Paaske & Jonas Rasmussen took the pressure better compared to their younger mates. In the end, the golden oldies prevailed in 57 minutes with a 41-21, 21-13, and 21-18 scoreline.
