One of the most controversial player in Malaysia, Hafiz Hashim took on Taiwan top singles player Hsieh Yu Hsing in the early rounds of the Proton Malaysia Open Super Series badminton championship.

Hafiz earlier had set a semi final target for this Malaysia Open 2010 edition but came up very short in this tournament. To be honest, i like what i see in the 2nd set from Hafiz as he showed his quality but the 1st and 3rd sets were rubbish from the lanky player from Malaysia.

Anyway, watch the video closely, constructive comments are most welcome.

Hafiz doesn't show must commitment in retrieving the shuttles like other players. Although i got to give credit that his cross-court drop is perfect.

east & west lee chong wei is the best

  • geez, badmintonfreak, when are you going to stop showing us videos of Hafiz? As for Lee chong, he is best if he is not playing the best in the best events.

HH gave his best, but HYH is the better player that day. His net play was great, HH has to lift all the time (did not see HH make a lot net kill). 1st set at 19-19 HH did take the chance to take the lead. Overall HH has to be more +ve in his game. Net play n aggresive net kill.

Tonight HH is playing LD, “just another left handed player, HH” Go and beat him and let all your knockers go to rest. I know you can do it. Give it your best shot and remember, never play net shot cross to his forehand.
