Home favorite and 9 times Copenhagen Masters champion, Peter Gade took on Dicky Palyama in the semi finals of the 2009 Copenhagen Masters men singles badminton tournament.

Gade is the top seed for this tournament and will be the hot favorite to advance to the finals. Meanwhile i am sure Palyama is not an easy meat for Gade.

Dicky Palyama is ranked 20th in the world rankings but upset do happens often in the World of Badminton. Can the the Flying Dutchman put a full stop on Peter Gade’s quest for the 10th Copenhagen Masters.

This was so crazy. Gade only played a little too cautious and Palyama was all over him. It was really impressive play by the Dutchman, a shame he couldn’t do more to Jan Ø. in the first set of their match.

  • Interestingly, Jorgensen has not only got the better of Gade, but also comfortably beaten Palyama. Perhaps a changing of the guard, as far as Denmark’s singles players is concerned?
