Jan_O_Jorgensen

Home crowd favorite Chen Jin took on Danish number 2 player, Jan Jorgensen in the China Super Series 2009 badminton tournament in the men singles semi finals.

Chen Jin will be the clear favorite to win this but do not discard this Danish pitbull as he already has taken out our beloved Lee Chong Wei in the first round.

Chen Jin will be banking on superior skills plus home ground advantage to win while Jan Jorgensen will be using his never say die attitude to beat Chen Jin.

Enjoy the semi final encounter between the 2nd best players in their respective countries.

    thank you.
I never saw jan jorgensen play before and i enjoyed his style despite the fact that i’m a chen jin fan.

I was very amazed that he serves in the old way.
I think that nowadays, he’s the only man doing like that. Am i wrong?

  • Nothing is wrong with the videos to me, they all seem good.

Thanks Jason so much for these awesome matches.

I feel sorry that Chen Jin was injured, but happy for the Danish player getting to a final for the first time, congrats to him and I hope Chen Jin recovers his health

  • By the way Jason, please keep uploading.. there are so many great matches from Hong Kong open, and the Super China series to be watched !!

This site is the best for badminton videos. Infact.. its the only one.

Youtube is so slow, and poor quality compared to this website

Thanks again Jason for this wonderful match!

Too bad Chen Jin got injured, but I realy like the way Jorgensen fought himself back in the game!

  • Jacky 7 years ago

Chen Jin was on a ‘stand still’ and it still took Jan Jorgensen quite a bit of effort to finish him.

To Jason: iยดm sorry, my computer made a mistake :S but thanks for the videos! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey, Jason, just wanted to show my appreciation for your effort in uploading the videos.
Is there a way I can donate a small amount of money to help out with the operations of the site?

  • Chris 7 years ago

Thanks for the great match Jason, Please PLEASE can we have the MD Semis and Final Uploaded?! I cant wait to see those matches!

I tell all my badminton friends about your site, you are number one!

  • To Jacky :

But Chen Jin was not standing still in the games, was he?
Did you notice that when Jorgensen was on a roll and doing well, Chen Jin asked the doctor for help when he could have gotten that help between games or at mid game break? Do you know that Chen Jin has been known to interfer with the shuttle many times to give him an advantage? Please dont dismiss the skill of Jorgansen

  • hxhong 7 years ago

    To mark,

According to whom “Chen Jin has been known to interfer with the shuttle many times”? Known to whom?

  • exalted 7 years ago

Just watched the game – definitely a good show by both players.

Also want to give my continued thanks for uploading matches – the site is awesome and I show the website to every badminton fanatic I know :3.

    To Mark

Once CJ refused Sony K’s request to change a shuttle 3 times. The latter lost 3 points in a row. so what do you call this? gamesmanship? or good tactician?

Thx for the upload. Keep up the good work.

Great match. Props to Chen Jin for digging deep and making Jorgensen work so hard. Imagine Chen Jin at 100%.

tks jason! we are waiting for the final match ms video.

My apologies to my Dannish friends but I didn’t any LCW beater from these two the way they played. Jan did beat LCW in the first round, he won but I doubt he can repeat this again in 6 months. You don’t need to believe me, just wait for the GP Final from JB. LCW must be caught off guard, fatigue but he is not one who likes to give excuses.

of course we know chen jin is a very good player but in this game look at the form of the younger and unexprience jan o jorgensen. He showed us all how competetive he is and his style of play was brilliant despite chen jin's attack that was kept coming and coming
