Chong Wei have all the weapon to match Lin Dan but his downfall has always been his poor mental strenght whenever he is facing Lin Dan.

Top seeds, Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong took on Indonesian youngsters Mohammad Ahsan & Bona Septano at the Japan Open 2010 men doubles semi finals.

On paper the Malaysian should not have any problems qualifying to the finals but the Indonesian pair will not go down without giving the top seeds a run for their money.

Wang Xiaoli & Yu Yang takes on home crowd favorite Miyuki Maeda & Satoko Suetsuna in the women doubles Japan Open 2010 semi finals.

The Japanese pairing is ranked second in the world and will be looking forward to give some cheer to the home crowd and progress to the finals of the Japan Open 2010.

The Chinese pairing will be no pushover as any China combination can beat anybody in the world. Never count them out.

Tao Jianming & Tian Qing took on Joachim Fischer & Christinna Pedersen at the Japan Open 2010 mixed doubles semi finals. This is a well balance match with both pairing are quiet evenly match.

The Danish pairing will start as slight favorites as they are higher ranked then the Chinese but ranking does not mean anything when you play with strong chinese pairs.

Lin Dan took on Peter Gade at the Japan Open 2010 men singles semi finals. It has been quite sometime since this two players played against each other.

Ranking wise, Peter Gade is much higher compared to Lin Dan. It is because Lin Dan chooses his tournament and does not play as many tournaments as Peter Gade, Taufik or even Chong Wei.

Nonetheless, enjoy the match between Peter Gade, best player during 10 years ago and Lin Dan the best player the current time.

Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong took on Cai Yun & Fu Haifeng in the 2010 World Championship men doubles finals. The Malaysian pairing of Kien Keat & Boon Heong will be looking to end the draught for Malaysia as it has been a long time since a Malaysian won a World Championship Title in badminton (not sure whether Malaysia have ever produce any World Champions in badminton).

Anyway, this match will be a classes as the chinese pairing will be looking for their 3rd world title while the Malaysian will be looking to end Malaysia’ long awaited champions?
