It will be an evenly balanced match. Tough one to call but nonetheless enjoy this match as we are looking forward to the season opener in Korea!

I am not sure how many times you will be able to see Chong Wei Feng in action at Badmintonfreak. Anyway this is first video here. Guess what, his first video here will be against the Great Dane! None other then Peter Gade.

Chong Wei Feng is really facing an uphill battle here. Taking on Peter Gade at the Copenhagen Masters 2009 badminton tournament.

Wei Feng is Malaysia’s future hopes in badminton. For Denmark, they already have Jan Jorgensen, an able replacement for Peter Gade. For China, they have Chen Jin, Chen Long in the wings.

Indonesia have Simon Santoso while Malaysia still banking on Lee Chong Wei for honours. So will this young fella excite the badminton scene in Malaysia?

Lars Paaske & Jonas Rasmussen took on Beijing Olympic champions Markus Kido & Hendra Setiawan of Indonesia in the Copenhagen Master 2009 badminton tournament.

Paaske & Rasmussen will have the home supporters behind them while the Indonesian will be looking for some good match practice as they have just recovered from injuries.

Paaske & Rasmussen will not have any chance of beating the Olympic champions if they are fully recovered but with current form, the Danish pair might have a chance.

Thomas Laybourn & Rytter Juhl took Anders Kristiansen & Christinna Pedersen and on paper, Laybourn & Rytter Juhl shouldn’t have much problem sending their compatriots packing.

Malaysia future women singles player Lydia Cheah takes on 2nd seed Yao Jie of Holland in the Copenhagen Masters 2009 badminton tournament.

Yao Jie will be looking to advance to the finals in the expense of the Malaysian. Lydia has been bugged by injuries of late. Her performance has suffered due to that.

Yao Jie will be banking on her experience while Lydia will be banking on her youthfulness to be the Dutch player. Oh yeah if i am not mistaken Yao Jie is 32 years of age already.

Lydia have to move Yao Jie to all four corners of the court if she wants to beat the Dutch player. Can the Malaysian upset the formbooks to qualify for the finals? Can Malaysia have another world class player in the likes of Wong Mew Choo and Julia Wong? Soon we will find out!

Olympic champions Markis Kido & Hendra Setiawan took on home favorites Mathias Boe & Carsten Mogensen in the Copenhagen Masters 2009 men doubles badminton match.

The Indonesian pairing just returned from injury and their fitness with be a big suspect. Meanwhile the Danish pair has been performing hot and cold of late. Matches where the Danish are expected to win and they didn’t while they did the opposite when they were not suppose to win.

I guess this is one of the matches of the Copenhagen Masters 2009 has been waiting. Hope we will not be disappointed with their performances in court.

Anyway who’s your favorite pair between the two of them? I still prefer Kido & Setiawan instead of the Danish pair because they are more cool and skillful in court. What say you?

How often do we get to see a Russian women singles player in action? To be honest this is the first time i hear the name of Ella Diehl. No hard feelings to all my Russian supporters.

Anyway Tine Rasmussen took on Ella Diehl at the Copenhagen Masters 2009 women singles badminton tournament in the round robin match.

From paper, i am pretty sure Tine Rasmussen will have it easy against the unknown Russian player. Nonetheless, its a privilege to have the chance to watch a Russian women singles player in action. Hope Russia can produce more Maria Sharapova in badminton in the future. ^^

Another Simon Santoso video in the Copenhagen Masters 2009 badminton tournament. This time, the Indonesian took on Marc Zwiebler of Germany in the round robin match.

Marc Zwiebler has been performing well of late and he surprised everybody when he made it to the finals of the Denmark Open 2009 Super Series tournament.

In the finals, he lost to none other then Simon Santoso. Zwiebler will be looking to avenge his defeat this time around in the Copenhagen Masters but it won’t be easy against an opponent like Simon Santoso.

Can Simon Santoso stopped Marc Zwiebler for the 2nd time around? We shall soon find out!

Jan Jorgensen took on Simon Santoso in the Copenhagen Masters 2009 men singles badminton tournament. The Dane will be hoping to give his home supporters something to cheer on after Peter Gade lost to Dicky Palyama.

Meanwhile Simon Santoso wants to show to the world that he is a capable replacement for Taufik Hidayat. Simon just needs to show that he is more consistent and not play hot and cold whenever he likes.
