Du Jing & Yu Yang took on Gao Ling & Wei Yili in the China Masters 2009 semi finals badminton event. Gao Ling & Wei Yili are not part of the Chinese Badminton Association but are playing independently.

Du Jing & Yu Yang are the reigning Olympic gold medalist while Gao Ling is a multiple Olympic gold medalist. I know that most of you are waiting for Japan Open 2009 but be rest assured i will try my best to put it up today.

Vita Marissa & Mona Santoso is a new pairing in the women doubles arena. Vita Marissa is playing for Indonesia while Mona Santoso is representing USA. They took on China’s Gao Ling & Wei Yili.

Trust me, after watching this video you will agree with me that Mona Santosa does have a super smash for a lady. Can the new pairing cause an upset? Stay tune and find it out.

Another event where the Chinese dominates. Yang Wei & Zhang Jiewen took on Gao Ling & Wei Yili in the 2009 Thailand Open 2009 women doubles finals. I am not sure whether Gao Ling came out from retirement but it’s great to see such a champion back on court.

As usual Chinese women doubles matches always stretches to the distance. Expect a long an interesting match!
