Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong will take on world no.1 double pairing in the world from Denmark, Mathias Boe & Carsten Mogensen at the Yonex All England badminton championship 2011.

On paper, the Danish pairing of Mathias Boe & Carsten Mogensen is the clear favorites but based on passed records, the Malaysian pairing will be the favorites to win this match.

If the Malaysian take the all out attacking approach against the Danish pairing, I am pretty sure the Malaysian will come out tops. Sometimes i just couldn’t understand the tactics used by the Malaysian as they tend to be defensive especially when they are leading. If the Malaysian attacked more often then defend, they will surely win many more major tournaments.

Can the Malaysian stop the hottest badminton pairing in the world from Denmark? A fast and furious match is on the cards. Make sure you do not miss this match!

A short video clip of the Yonex All England 2011 Badminton Championship for the women single event where Wang Shixian played with Eriko Hirose of Japan.

Current World No.1 Wang Shixian will be looking to add the All England title into her resume. In the finals, Wang Shixian will take on Eriko Hirose of Japan, a surprise package in the women single finals of the All England 2011 badminton championship.

Wang Shixian have been on a blistering form while Eriko Hirose is known for her never say die attitude. Players will find it difficult to play with Eriko Hirose because the shuttle keeps on coming back regardless.

The Japanese pairing of Mizuki Fujii & Reika Kakiiwa surprised everbody by qualifying to the All England 2011 badminton championship women double finals. In the finals, Mizuki Fujii & Reika Kakiiwa will take one Chinese pairing for Wang Xiaoli & Yu Yang.

On paper, the Chinese pairing will be far too strong for the Japanese but as far as the Japanese are concern, they can beat anybody as they have proven in their earlier round matches.

Any upset on the cards? Watch it and you will soon find it out!

Lin Dan took on Simon Santoso of Indonesia at the Korea Open 2011 men single semi finals match. It will be a tall order for Simon Santoso to beat Lin Dan as Simon has not beaten Lin Dan before in all their previous meetings.

On the other hand Lin Dan will be looking forward to the next match if he can beat Simon Santoso which is Lee Chong Wei in the finals. Can the up and coming Simon Santoso upset one of the greatest badminton player on earth? One of the on form women single players, Wang Shixian of China took on Porntip Buranaprasertsuk of Thailand in the Korea Open 2011 women single semi finals.

No doubt on paper, Wang Shixian will be the super hot racket-wielding favorites to win against Porntip Buranaprasertsuk but we hope the Thai gal will be able to give Wang Shixian a run for her money and do not give her a walk in the park.

Can the Thai-phoon cause a major upset on the Great Wall of China?

After a few poor results, Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong made it to the Korea Open 2011 men double semi finals. In the semis, they will play home favorites Lee Yong Dae & Jung Jae Sung.

The last few meetings have been close and the Malaysian pair come out tops. Matches between Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong and Lee Yong Dae & Jung Jae Sung has always been entertaining.

Another all Chinese affair in the women double finals of the Malaysia Open 2011 badminton championship.

Tian Qing & Zhao Yunlei will take on Wang Xiaoli & Yu Yang in the finals. Another world class match is expected although both are from China.

Rallies will be long with loads of attacking and defending by both pairing. A good match for those neutral badminton supporters. (more…)

Chai Biao & Guo Zhendong took on Mads Conrads Petersen & Jonas Rasmussen at the Malaysia Open 2011 men double finals. Both pairing are quite new.

I am impressed with the results shown my Mads Conrads Petersen & Jonas Rasmussen as they have shown tremendous understanding to each other on their new partnership on court.

I will be rooting for the danish pair to win this match but as usual the Chinese will be strong and will be going for the title as well. New pairing and new players keeps the badminton world excited and we really want to see them perform and upset those old players. This is what badminton is all about. The competition and hunger for success!
