The only match up where China wasn’t involved in the finals. Indonesia, Nova Widianto & Liliyana Natsir took on Thomas Laybourn & Kamilla Rytter Juhl of Denmark in the finals of the world badminton championship 2009 in Hyderabad.

Nova & Liliyana Natsir is the second seed for the tournament and the Danish pairing is the seventh seed in the tournament. On paper, the Indonesian will have it easy against the Danish but the Danish had been playing well the whole tournament.

Top seed Nova Widianto & Liliyana Natsir (Indonesia) took on 2nd seed Thomas Laybourn & Kamilla Rytter Juhl of Denmark in the Super Series Masters Finals 2008 in the Mixed Doubles event.

To be honest, mixed doubles matches tend to go all the distance always. Before this, i wasn’t really interested in mixed doubles matches but not anymore. It’s also fast and furious like men doubles matches.
