This will be my first post after quite some time. I could see that some comments were shooting me on being lazy and stuff like that. I wasn’t being lazy mind you. I had to transfer badmintonfreak to another new server. It took time and the transfering of files is yet to complete.

Most Malaysians will understand my problem as we have very slow internet access in Malaysia. Anyway let’s forget about this setback and if i had made all of you waited so long, i apologize sincerely.

This is the mixed doubles semi finals match up of the Yonex Sunrise Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold 2010 where Markis Kido & Lita Nurlita of Indonesia took on Sudket Prapkamol & Saralee Thoungthongkam of Thailand.

On paper, the Thai pairing will start as favorites ahead of the Indonesian scratch pair. Enjoy our very first video after a long long time. Let the smashing begin again once more! ^^

Lee Yong Dae-Lee Hyo Jung took on Nova Widianto-Liliyana Natsir in the All England 2010 badminton championship in the mixed doubles semi finals.

Yong Dae-Hyo Jung is the current Olympic champions while Widianto-Liliyana are former world champions. Nova-Liliyana suppose to quit badminton in 2010 but Nova made a U-turn and made a comeback. The Indonesian is playing well to get this far in this tournament.

This will be an evenly battle between two of the well known mixed doubles pairing. Yong Dae will be on the spot light again as he has been off form of late. Whether he is carrying an injury is still not know. Enjoy the match that brings loads of high quality rallies.

Nova Widianto & Liliyana Natsir made it to the All England 2010 mixed doubles finals. Nova who is suppose to retire by the end of 2009 didn’t quit the sports and continued for another year and had another crack on the prestigious All England title.

Waiting for the former champions is scratch pairing of Zhang Nan-Zhao Yunlei of China. It is amazing how China can produce so many world class mixed doubles pairing from nothing.

On paper the Indonesian will be the slight favorites with the experience while the Chinese will be banking on their youth and power play to upset the Indonesian.

Can the scratch pairing caused another major upset after defeating many world class pairs along the way to the All England Finals?

It is a hard one to call as mixed doubles finals has always been tight and entertaining. Trust me, mixed doubles now and mixed doubles 10 years ago is very much different.

Tao Jiaming & Zhang Yawen of China took on Flandy Limpele & Cheng Wen Hsing a mixed combination of Indonesia and Taiwan in the semi finals of the Korea Open 2010 Super Series event.

The Chinese will start of as favorites for this match as Zhang Yawen is an experience lady player. Meanwhile Flandy Limpele need to up his game if they want to beat the Chinese pair.

This is the final semi final match we are bringing from the Korea Super Series. Next up all the 5 finals matches. Stay tune!

Another video for the Polish badminton team as Robert Mateusiak & Nadiezda Kostiuczyk took on Nova Widianto & Lilyana Natsir in the mixed doubles badminton tournament of the Copenhagen Masters 2009.

Robert Mateusiak & Nadiezda Kostiuczyk has been playing good badminton of late by virtually beating higher ranked mixed doubles pairing.

Meanwhile Nova & Lilyana has been on the downhill of late. I guess Nova is feeling the pressure of his age catching up. Nonetheless, i dedicate this video to all my Polish supporters in badmintonfreak and all those badminton lovers out there.
