Lee Chong Wei took on Peter Gade in the All England 2010 Semi Finals badminton tournament in Birmingham. Peter Gade defeated Taufik in the tough 3 setter quarter finals match meanwhile Chong Wei defeated an up and coming Korean youngster.

Gade will be looking to add another All England title into his resume while Chong Wei will be looking for his first. Another classic battle between two of the best players will be on show. One is the current best player while Gade was the best about 7 to 8 years ago.

Lee Chong Wei took on Peter Gade at the Korea Super Series 2010 men singles finals badminton tournament. Chong Wei defeated Chen Jin in the semi finals while Gade defeated Chen Long in the other semi finals.

A match of different era players. Peter Gade, at the twilight of his career while Chen Long the up and coming Chinese dragon. Peter Gade the defending champion took on Chen Long in the men singles semi finals of the Korea Super Series 2010 badminton tournament.

Gade had a mammoth quarter finals match against home player Park Sung Hwan which lasted more then 1 hour. Meanwhile Chen Long need not carry his racquet.

Can the young lad from China upset the more experience Gade? At least China has backup for their top players but countries like Malaysia having problem producing players to fill in Lee Chong Wei’s shoes.

Men singles match of the World Super Series Masters Finals 2009 badminton tournament between Peter Gade and Lee Chong Wei.

Matches between both has been close of late but Chong Wei had the upper hand in a few previous latest encounters.

Taufik Hidayat took on Peter Gade in the French Open 2009 Super Series badminton tournament. It is in the men singles semi finals where the two great champions face off.

Both are on the twilight of their careers but they are not going down without putting up a good show. I reckon the next Olympic in London will be the last for both of them.

Anyway we shall not talk about retirements but we shall stay focus on the match where two great champions play. This is our first match that we brought to you from France 2009 and i hope i have a few more to share with you badminton lovers out there!
