I remembered there is a supporter requesting for this match. There you go! Bao Chunlai took on Lee Hyun Il in the Thomas Cup Finals match between Korea against China. This is the second men singles match.

Lee Hyun Il is a world class player but sometimes his problem is consistency. Meanwhile during 2008, Bao Chunlai was China’s second best player behind Lin Dan.

The score is tied at 1-1 and this match will be crucial for both teams. Which player that manage to get a point off this game, will surely give their country a big boost to win the Thomas Cup.

Enjoy the great battle between this 2 great players. Oh yeah, Lee Hyun Il already retired from badminton.

Is there a wrong information, it shows Hyun Il 177cm and Bao is 175cm.

Lee Hyun retired from badminton after he realized he could only beat Lin Dan in korea where disgruntled ex national players got jobs as linesmen and made favorable calls for him. Ever noticed why Lin Dan or Taufik dont even bother with the Korean open anymore?

Didn't he reach the semi-finals of the Olympics in China (!), guess it's not his fault that the linesmen call favourable for him.

It's not his fault his comrades made bogus line calls for him…it's just embarassing. To win like that is worse then losing. And there's no such thing as a “favorable line call” It's either in or out. If the wrong call is made then its “cheating” But its not only Lin Dan, other players like Taufik got shafted by those linesmen as well.If they keep it up at the Korean Open they'll have no one to play with but themselves…now that would be exciting.

  • i heard the comentator said, BCL is 1.91m…=)

Great game, thanks Jason for putting this on. A nice thing to do would be to makes the viewers rate the games from 1 star to 5 stars, and display the average on the video' title. I would give this one a 5 stars.
