Player is standing with distance between feet, diagnosis and with low center of gravity. Player is making a spilt step and pushes off on the outer side of the feet, thumb using both arms for balance, and slightly leaning forward to be able to make a fast weight transfer. When player is ending with the push step, player pushes back into the court.

NOTICE: As a right handed player the left leg/foot is very important when moving on court. Notice how player is dragging the left foot to be able to push back on the left foot. The left foot is not to be dragged to close to the right foot, – that will “block” the footwork used to get back into the court. This is very important to practice.

Focus Areas:
1. Very low center of gravity.
2. Powerful split step.
3. Using left foot getting back into the center of the court.
