After winning the 2012 Super Series event in France, everybody in the badminton scene especially those in Malaysia is buzzing around for Liew Daren as the replacement for Lee Chong Wei.

Liew Daren was put back into reality that he is still miles apart comparing to the world best in badminton as he was brought down to earth by an unknown Chinese player, Huan Gao from China ranked 95th in the world loosing in 50 minutes, 13-21, 18-21.

A discussion is needed on this matter whether Liew Daren is just a one time wonder or he has what it takes to replace Lee Chong Wei when he retires.

seriously?? Evidently it doesn’t take much at all to wonder you! Com on!!! No one on the top level completed in that French Open!! All players were either 2nd rate at best or young and inexperienced. I am trying hard not to say mean things!!
