Suprise package Mak Hee Chun & Tan Wee Kiong made it to the semi finals of the Yonex Sunrise Malaysia Open Grand Prix semi finals taking on Hendra Gunawan & Alvent Yulianto.
On paper, the Indonesian should beat the younger Malaysian pairing. With home support can the Malaysian surprise package upstage their more experience nemesis from Indonesia?

Mak HC and Tan WK seem to be under pressure. They are still young, I believe they still have time. Hopefully Tan Kim Her will do his work with them.
Goh WS and Teo KS also seem to be improving a lot… they gave a good battle to Fang CM and Lee SM.
