Sony is injured and how is Indonesia going to win the Thomas Cup?

Bad news to Indonesia Thomas Cup badminton team as Sony Dwi Kuncoro retired his match against India’s Arvind Bhatt.
Sony was on court for 32 minutes when he called it quits. According to reports, Sony had injured his back and the exact condition was to be checked later.
In his absence, Simon Santoso will play as the second singles player. So can Indonesia win the Thomas Cup without Sony?

Simon Santoso may not be as good as Sony, but he is a good badminton player, he might be able to pull it off, but he sure as hell will have a hard time against someone like China or Malaysia.
By the way, I'm wondering about the absence of Taufik, isn't he a part of the Indonesian team? Or am I missing something?
Oh sorry, I might have forgotten. Taufik must be their first single player. I totally forgot that the women and men have their own tournaments XD
