Path is clear now for Lee Chong Wei as Lin Dan crashes in All England 2010

Lee Chong Wei is on the brink for greatness as his biggest rival Lin Dan lost surprisingly to Bao Chunlai in the quarter finals.
Chong Wei didn’t had an easy time against Shon Wan Ho as Chong Wei was dragged to 3sets. Chong Wei finally prevailed with a scoreline of 14-21, 21-14, 21-14 in 61 minutes.
Meanwhile Lin Dan lost to Chun Lai with a scoreline of 16-21, 21-17, 18-21. Next up for Chong Wei will be Peter Gade. Gade had to toil around the court for 80 minutes as he defeated Taufik Hidayat 20-22, 22-20, 22-20.
The other semi finals will be between Bao Chunlai taking on Kenichi Tago. Will this be Chong Wei’s biggest break through? We shall find out when he takes on Peter Gade at 8.30pm today Malaysia.

Oh please..Lin Dan played a fellow countryman. When China plays China you never know if the fix is in or not. Why did you think Lin lost to chen Jin in the finals before? It's for seeding in other tournaments like the worlds. I'll go out on a limb to say that if LCW wins the AE for the first time he'll be bawling like a baby on the court.Im sure all of Malaysia will have a national LCW day and close all businesses down for that. i saw that game between bao and lin. Lin Dan made alot of uncharacteristic mistakes, at times smashing shuttles like half a foot out. Lin doesnt make those mistakes often even against LCW. It's called the “fix.Thats the difference between badminton china and badminton in other countries. In china, the COUNTRY and TEAM comes first.I knew Lin was gonna throw the match with bao when he was asked about his preperation for this “speacial 100th tournament , Lin shrugged it off like he was just preparing for another tournament, like it was nothing special. the man has won 4 AE's.I dont think he cries at night if he lost this AE for his countrymen. As for lin not wanting to play competition..have you watched 2009 badminton? Lin Dan was pretty dam successful if you ask me considering he reach most of those finals and won. HOW DO YOU AVOID COMPETITION IF YOU REACH THE FINALS AN WIN TOURNAMENTS LIKE THE WORLDS AND AE? the man [ lin] is 25-26 , hes gonna retire in a couple of years with a better tournament win list then any other modern player and another gold like zhang in the olympics is probably the only real goal left for him.
What are you trying to get at? BCL played his best badminton for years. He won German Open and beat PSH 21-5, 21-10, probably Park's worst defeat. LD struggled right from Round 1. LD was a great player, 6 months ago on this site, Jason disagreed with me that “the tide is changing”, we will see LD sliding from here on. He has not becoming bad, others are getting better and its hard for LD to get any better, he was the best.
So if BCL doesn't win, your theory will be void. BCL is in top form and you DON'T KNOW wheither LD agreed to lose. He lost, period. Even if it was his own choice, he lost, those are the facts. Besides if he wanted to throw the game why didn't he do it in 2 sets so BCL would be in top condition for the semi's / finals?
I wish BCL, PG, LCW the best of luck.. they all deserve to win in my book. I'm kinda rooting for PG and BCL in the finals, just because PG would love another big tournament win (maybe the last he'll win before retirement, but who knows, for all I care he plays until his fourties, cause he's a treat to watch), and BCL because he's just playing that dam well.

Congratulations to Chong Wei, he gets his job done to proceed to final stage of all england after beating peter Gade just now with the score of 21-17,21-14. Keep it up his fighting spirit,1st all england title is waiting for him right now,just 1 more step to go…go Chong Wei go !!!

Bao Chunlai just got beat by Kenichi Tago. So it will be LCW vs. Tago in the finals
I think you'll have to wait untill next week.. they won't be realised online until then on badmintonplanet.tv I think. Jason might have them already though.

really disappointed.
I'm very disappointed I won't get to watch how the much improved LCW will fare against the form I saw in LD when he won AE 2009. I watched the clip of LD with BCL and was really disappointed with LD. I must say BCL played an improved game but LD was nowhere at his winning form. I should have guessed sthg wasn't right when LD was interviewed about his preparations for AE 2010 and he mentioned that LCW is the best! I guess LD is making wedding preparations? Or it's too much baby-making that's making him lose his steam hahaha
