Wong Choong Hann took on Shon Seung Mo of Korea in the 2003 World Badminton Championship in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

To be honest, Seung Mo is a hard working player but if compare to many other players in the world, he is not as talented as Taufik, Gade and others.

When i was searching on Wikipedia on Seung Mo, i am surprised to find out this face that he is partially blind after being hit in the eye by a shuttlecock in his younger days. I am pretty sure most of you didn’t know about this.

Nonetheless enjoy the match between Wong Choong Hann taking on Shon Seung Mo, a match 6 years ago.

WCH lost in the final to Xia Xuan Xie in a tough 3 setter. Xia is Wong’s bogey man (head to head 0-8) as much as LD is to LCW at the moment. Xia is now the singles coach for China, he is the one whose ears moved when he is nervous, just watch the Swiss 2209 final when LCW beat LD.

to lennart…badminton's not only about technique…shon hustles around on court like nobody else without any mistake(look at the olympics 04 semi final)…that is his play…i also saw him live in berlin…he is now the korean junior coach and we had an international tournament were he was on court a bit…he has a good technique even if you dont believe it…

I know badminton is now all about technique. I still believe you though. His techniques are good – still strange – but not good enough to beat WCH. WCH anticipates on every shot so easily, but I'm sure no one of us would se his shot coming
