Denmark Open 2009 Badminton Video Men Doubles Semis

Mathias Boe & Carsten Mogensen, the home crowd favorite took on Olympic gold medalist pairing from Indonesia, Markis Kido & Hendra Setiawan in the Denmark Open 2009 men doubles semi finals match.
The danish pair is going through a bad patch while the Indonesian pairing is returning to the world badminton scene after injuries. Both pairs on their day can beat anybody but inconsistency is their main problem.
Who will prevail in an evenly contested match? Watch and we shall find the answer out!

The Danish Pair surprises me, they are strong.
Hate those stupid cheap ass tactics the Danish players use, at this level of play its pathetic to have to win that way.

Which cheap ass tacics do they use, didn’t see any. Wait til you watch the final against KKK/TBH at around 16-16 all. KK served and the shuttke touched Boe’s hand and it was a let call.
Ohh..my~ i watched the match between KKK/TBH n the Danish pairs .So intense!!… i really want to re-watch the part where KKK got a yellow card by the umpire.

the cheap tactic was when Boe, had to keep the server waiting by raising his hand even if he’s ready to receive it, thus ruining the rhythm eventually of the server…. very cheap… tactic commonly used by chinese players especially Lin Dan and Zheng Bo.

Being a dane I think it is such a shame that Boe’s only way of staying on top mentally is by acting like a complete ***hole on court!!!
I guess he at some point realised that he had to sacrifice being a nice guy in order to win….If Boe thinks it gives him an edge to behave without respect and full of aggresivity against his opponents, it’s his choice…just means that they won’t get as many fans, but they probably don’t care, if the results are achieved.
I for one am a great fan of KKK/TBH, and was thrilled to see them win the final!
It is however really impressing to see the Danes play, and I think they’ll do very well in London 2012, if they can avoid injuries.
There were plenty warcry from the ethusiastic crowds haha
So well yeah… I will keep this bad opinion on those players… they really didn’t deserve their place in the final.
I like the shots of Markis Kido in the second game haha… he’d just done it 3 times and each time he won the point… how nice…
What a pity that we didn’t have a final between indonesia and malaysia, I think it would have been far more better… but ok, this is the game…
