After disposing off top seed Zhou Mi in the quarter finals, Xie Xingfang will be looking to make it to the finals by taking on Pi Hongyan of France in the semi finals of the world badminton championship 2009 in Hyderabad.

Pi Hongyan is a former China player but now playing her trade for France. She will not be estimated as on her day, she can beat anybody in the world. Xingfang will surely treat Hongyan with respect.
