Malaysia top women doubles pair Wong Pei Tty and Chin Eei Hui lost surprisingly to Maeda Miyuki & Suetsuna Satoko in rubber games in the 3rd round.

The Malaysian pair is the top seed for the World Championship in Hyderabad but lost to the 14th seed Maeda Miyuki & Suetsuna Satoko 19-21,21-19,12-21 in 65 minutes.

Indeed it was a sad day for Malaysia but our Men Doubles team of Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif & Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari made it to the quarter finals after disposing a young Indonesian combination.

They are now in the quarter finals.
