Don’t you think the looks of Peter Gade and Taufik Hidayat 10 years ago were just simply adorable? They seem smaller in sizes. It’s just like a miniature of current Taufik Hidayat and Peter Gade.

Anyway enjoy the finals of the 1999 All England men singles finals between the two great champions. Taufik was still in his teens if i am not mistaken taking on a 21 year old Peter Gade. Both were at the top of their game at that time.

It should be an entertaining match. A match that you all wouldn’t want to miss. Enjoy the badminton people of Badminton Freak!

haha..this video remind me that I had been watching badminton matches for 11 years. Peter Gade was ranking in world no.1 during that time while Taufik is the new talent badminton player where media gave him a title with badminton prodigy !!! that time I was supporting Ong Ewe Hock from Msia..wow..time really flies..

Jason, you’re great! I’ve never seen this vidoe before, thanks. This video make me smile:D:D. Look at young talented Taufik he he he has a wonderful tactic, he is like of my youngest brother. But Peter was better en had more experiece than him, i like both of them.

Both Peter Gade and Taufik are cute and lovely in this video. I saw the tactics and footworks were a lot of difference from now.

This is great! notice how the fashion is so different too. It was all about loose t shirts then and small shorts, now it’s generally less baggy.
