I am starting to admire Nguyen Tien Minh of Vietnam. He comes from a small country of badminton but he is playing is life out there in the badminton court. Tien Minh might not be as talented as Lin Dan or Lee Chong Wei but his attitude and determination really makes him special and different compared to others.
Three cheers for Tien Minh. Anyway, his opponent for the Taiwan Open 2009 semi finals will be Hafiz Hashim. One of the players which i hate most. Having the skills and talent but didn’t make full use of it.
After winning the All England, it really got into his head that Hafiz Hashim thinks he is the best player on earth. That’s his downfall and also the government fault for pampering too much on a player after getting so little success.
Anyway Hafiz Hashim is making a comeback and most likely he won’t come good. Anyway watch Tien Minh with his attacking play against a fancy Hafiz Hashim.

Hendrawan is already MAD (making a difference) with HH which is good. But WCH’s defence is better than HH so NTM watch out, it will be a different game
To Kim : Tien Minh will also be confident as it’s WCH and Taufik at the other end in the finals. Tough one to call but how can that Tien Minh smash and smash not stop? I think he smashes a lot… -_-
well, that was my opinion too. I played like that when I was young, smash all the way but when I meet a good retriever, I am gone. However, NTM won, so he must be good.

This site is dying man. It always has been the greatest site for badminton lovers but some idiots just screwed it up.
stop downloading or whatever makes it so slow … other people also like to watch the games

Since the last few days it is taking an extremely long time for the stream to be downloaded making it virtually impossible to watch the games, before then watching the games was a real pleasure. I thought it was the best site but now I am not so sure. I hope this is a temporary problem. I believe you have done an extremely good job until now.
i wish Jason would at least disable the link for the download and re-up after sometime, since this is a new video, everybody want to watch it but there’s no way of watching it coz its horribly slow. damn downloaders
hafiz is not treating it seriously. Like he is moving so slowly he lose is well deserve to him. Tien minh worked hard and won.
This site is dead, i am so sorry,i miss the day when it was fluent and fast.
Very Superb match though in many episodes. I think either the bandwidth is so small or site has been extra loaded so it is to slow too run properly. There should be a particular time to download the videos.
Jason please do something. i am missing it very much.

NTM=Smashing machine, HH=lazy
TM reminds me of the young and energetic PD and TH (: we’ll see what happens to TM after a few years, 1. he continues playing like this and lose many matches or 2. change his style like what PD and TH did (:
NTM is also better. His advance is speed, strenth…We are all pround of his achieves
I am one of very few individuals who still have some faith in Hafiz 6 months ago. I think I did say “Hafiz is not habis” yet. Hendrawan will make him a top tenner one day, well, I hope. Good luck in SEA Games, Hafiz and Malaysia, go and boleh

Good game from the Vietnamese player, congrat to Nguyen. Not much to say about this game, the less mistakes is the winner!
