Lin Dan, the fifth seed and hot favorite to land the World Championship in Hyderabad took on Bao Chunlai’s nightmare, Dicky Palyama of Holland in the third round of the World Badminton Championship 2009 in Hyderabad.

Lin Dan gave a super polish display against Palyama. It’s not that Palyama is a lousy players, it’s just that Lin Dan was just too good.

Lin Dan is the most powerful player currently on our planet. The only opponent is Lee Chong Wei. A match between them is the favourite one. I guess, without a surprise, they will meet each other in the final.

Lin Dan is ranked 5, Lee Chong Wei 1, so they would meet each other in the semi-finals tomorrow.

i agree at some point guys lin dan is a powerful player….but think about this does lin dan have an attitude???i dont thinkg so…lin dan is arrogant he thinks no one can beat him…

Arrogance IS an attitude. It’s a reasonable character trait to have since he is one of the more successful players in his era.

There is a big difference between being cocky and arrogant. I think Lin Dan is cocky because he believes and knows he can win big tournaments. Every great player has that “belief” in themselves. He’s beaten extraordinary players like Taufik, Gade and LCW amongst others. If you were him, wouldnt you be a little cocky?
