Peter Gade – Kenneth Jonassen : Copenhagen Masters Finals 2008 Video

Kenneth Jonassen made a final bow in the international arena when he qualified to the finals of the Copenhagen Masters 2008. Jonassen had to take on good friend Peter Gade in the Men Singles finals in Copenhagen.

To be honest, Jonassen was supposed to be retired prior to this tournament. I guess, the Copenhagen Masters organizers talked him out for one last fling as a pro badminton player.

The main reason Jonasses in retiring is due to injuries and age factor.

Jonassen did well to dispose of Sony Dwi Kuncoro of Indonesia but his back injury was too much to handle against a fast Peter Gade.

Peter Gade continued his good streak at the Copenhagen Masters with a 21-14, 21-15 win against Kenneth Jonassen in 36 minutes.

This time is confirmed 101% that Kenneth Jonassen retires from badminton!

We at Badmintonfreak wishes Kenneth Jonassen all the best in becoming a coach. We will surely miss his fighting display and never say die attitude in cout.
